With Loren Zoe, Founder of Love Is In The Hair
Rock painting is a recent world-wide phenomenon with an estimated 6 million painted rocks creating smiles and chain reactions of kindness around the World. People paint rocks and hide rocks as a random act of kindness to create smiles and chain reactions of kindness. With Loren Zoe, guests will contribute to the love that is being shared by expressing themselves through rock painting.

Group Dance & Performance

Evolution Dance Company dancers will perform various style dances. Then, guests will be led in some stretching and a basic movement combination aimed at inspiring freedom in your body.

Wildcrafting Natural Lip Balms

With Aly Stoffo, Founder of Glam Gardener NYC
Join Aly from Glam Gardener NYC for a guided workshop for families. During this workshop, you’ll learn about the healing qualities of common wildflowers and plants, then you’ll be walked through the process of crafting a lip balm that you can take home with you! All materials will be provided and we will use a camping stove and heat, so please take caution when participating in this activity.

Drum Circle
4PM - 5PM
With Jose Raul Ocasio
Jose will begin the drum circle by speaking briefly about the history of each instrument, then demonstrating how to play each instrument. There will be African, Brazilian and Puerto Rican instruments as well as miscellaneous percussion instruments. Together, they will create a beautiful ensemble of several rhythms as friends and family begin to jam together with the help of Jose. The air will be full of music and joy as we all engage in the fun drum circle together.

Breath Work
With Nikki from Badass Bootcamp
Take a pause for some aroma therapy and breath exercises to soothe and ground your soul. This 30 min -45 min workshop will teach you 5 different techniques and an array of essential oils to choose from

Food
La Cocina Tropical, a food truck serving Spanish cuisine, will be parked in the parking lot 1 for the duration of the festival.
Entertainment
Evolving Events NYC, a family owned DJ & Photo Booth business, will set the tone by providing tunes.
Lori Love will be providing free face painting during the festival sponsored by 5 Borough Clean-Up
Recommendations
The South Meadow has a beautiful, luscious lawn where we will be experiencing the day together. We recommend bringing blankets so that you can really settle down and enjoy the great outdoors with the community.
